Rainwater runoff trench reconstructed to allow water to penetrate ground prior to reaching rain garden basin. This previously was not working due to initial installation flaws by landscapers.

Rain garden basin with sandy bottom allowing up to 1200 gallons of water to be absorbed into the ground and purified. Thereby, keeping a much healthier lake atmosphere by not returning pollutants into the lake.

Wildflower seed mix added on sloped hill to prevent erosion. Area is fed into by a water diversion trap from rain garden trench. This reduces the amount of water sent to the rain garden basin by 30% which is beneficial in torrential rainfall.
